We'll start our journey at Lava Tree Park, located off Pāhoa Road in the district of Puna. This 17-acre State Monument showcases the unusual lava molds of tree trunks created during a volcanic eruption in the 1700s. Take a 0.7-mile loop trail to witness Pele's amazing sculpture garden, frozen in time. This is a perfect opportunity to take photos and appreciate the work of the volcano goddess. Restrooms are available for your convenience.
Afterwards, we'll provide a quick e-bike safety and use demonstration before heading through the 2018 lava flow devastation area. Along the way, we'll make stops for photos, allowing you to capture the stark beauty and power of the volcanic landscape.
Next, we'll venture into the Wa'a Wa'a area, where you'll experience the prehistoric grandeur of an immense forest adorned with Bird's Nest Ferns. Towering trees entwined with vines and teeming with life will enchant your senses as you explore this verdant oasis. Offroad Adventure Tours offers thrilling expeditions through remote and picturesque locations, taking you beyond the limits of conventional travel and providing unforgettable experiences that will leave you in awe.
On this tour, we will take you to Punaluu beach (black sand), and along the way to Papakolea beach (green sand), we'll visit the southernmost tip of the USA. Then last but not least we'll watch the sunset at Waialea bay (white sand).
Take an extreme off-road drive over volcanic lava rock road to visit one of only 4 green sand beaches in the world! The Hawaiian name for this beach is Papakolea. Papakolea was carved in a 4900-year-old cinder cone belonging to the Mauna Loa volcano that contains the green crystal (olivine) of which the beach's "sand" is made up. A one-of-a-kind adventure surely to strike awe in its beauty and splendor!

Unique opportunities to explore breathtaking wilderness areas and track elusive game, providing a thrilling experience that combines the excitement of the hunt with the awe-inspiring beauty of nature.
Though I will guide you, it’s up to you to land the big one and put food on the table. Our main focus is on creating a safe, fun, and exciting experience that you will never forget. You’ll join us on a hunt for wild hogs on private land, and we’ll tailor the details based on your level of experience and physical capability. The entire adventure will be fully catered to your needs. In the case of a successful hunt, we will provide guidance and support as we prepare and cook the wild hog to your specific instructions. For the “Cook” part of the tour, we will provide various suggestions on how to prepare and cook wild game to help you gain exposure to a variety of tastes and culinary techniques. We even offer the option of cooking your meal using an “Imu” – a Hawaiian underground oven or smoker – for an additional fee.

An Ocean Quest To Remember
Fishing & Diving Charter Tour
For those who enjoy the hunt, this is for you. The success of the “Catch” portion of this tour will depend on your method of choice, your skills, and your abilities.
You will have the option to fish with a rod or spear, or a bit of both. Both methods will be done off our 20-foot twin vee dive/fishing boat. Whether we have a successful catch depends on the ocean conditions, but with good conditions, our success rating is usually around 99%. There are many types of fish we can harvest; the size of the fish depends on the method and time of year. We prefer trolling, reef fishing, and spearfishing.
As for the “Cook” portion of the tour, we will cater to your personal taste. Additionally, we offer to clean, prepare, freeze, package, and even ship your catch to you.
